OFFICIAL RULES FOR LOCAL ON-AIR AND ON-LOCATION CONTESTS
Here are the official rules for WEGW, EAGLE 107.5, local contests.Winners are eligible to win only once every 30 days in any local EAGLE 107.5 “on-air” and/or “on-location” and/or "on-line" contest and only one winner per household every 30 days. All on-air winners must claim their prize within 30 days at the lobby of the CapitolMusic Hall, 1015 Main Street, Wheeling, WV, Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM, or forfeit prize. Valid I.D. required. Prizes will be released only to the person the prize has been awarded, unless station is notified otherwise . Listeners are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every 90 days. Decisions of station management with respect to WEGW contests are final. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS form 1099 or the equivalent. By participating in WEGW contests, winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to the contest, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize. WEGW reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, which will become effective upon announcement. No purchase is necessary. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification. All on-location winners will be awarded their prize during the live broadcast unless otherwise announced. After being notified via email all on-line winners of local contests shall claim prizes in the same manner as on-air winners. Employees and family members of Clear Channel Broadcasting, other media companies and their subsidiaries and affiliates are not eligible.
